Portfolio work in chronological order
The Fruit Animal Collection
The fruit animal collection is one of my first passion projects. What was originally a creative experiment became a whole barnyard of stickers that could be sold and distributed.
Night at the Amp
The High School I attended runs a weeklong charity event called Senior Survivor every year, where students use a variety of different methods to raise funds for charity. This poster is my first big graphic design accomplishment, it helped to spread the word for a public event at the town’s Amphitheatre. This event helped raise over $2000 in cash donations for the “I Will Right Now” and “Fund a Life” organizations which help families in need pay for medical expenses.
Talk It Up motion graphic
For the final project in for my college motion graphic class, we had to create a 30 second music video for a song of our choice. I chose “Talk It Up” by Sammy Rae & The Friends. I chose a neutral color scheme to match the jazzy feel of the song and put my illustration skills to work!
S.A.F.B
During my junior and senior years at Oakland University, I worked as the Director of Marketing for the Student Activities Funding Board on campus. It was job to manage the SAFB social media accounts, as well as design various marketing materials such as banners, pamphlets and apparel. During my time as Marketing Director, I also updated the logo from a basic pawprint to the logo shown here.
Soar and Pour
Soar and Pour is another collage project in which I was assigned to create a brand identity for a made up coffee shop. I lightly based my design around the idea of travel, taking inspiration from old postcards and packaging. I put a heavy emphasis on line art, while leaving an absence of color to really sell the aesthetic I was going for.
Tarot Cards
The Plantmoon tarot cards are a product from my college entrepreneurial design class. The process included researching competition, creating the product, and figuring out the means of production and distribution. There was a heavy emphasis on creating a product that could be applied to many different mediums. In this case that includes tarot cards, magnets, wall art, phone cases, etc.
